If you are looking for traditional breakfast comfort food and / or you are accompanied by children, I definitely do not recommend Tangerine. With a friendly wait staff and a bright atmosphere, this might be OK for very adventurous eaters. Also, Tangerine is very expensive compared to comparable breakfast restaurants in Boulder. The coffee was over-brewed (did not lighten even with copious amounts of milk) and too strong. As such, the spinach was watery and flavorless. Instead of being blended with the veggies for flavor, a single piece of pancetta bacon was placed on top of the dish. On my second visit, I tried to get into the spirit of the restaurant and ordered the lentils, spinach and eggs with pancetta. The waiter was accommodating but I got a lot of comments about being high maintenance from my fellow diners. Offers gluten-free menu and gluten-free beer, pancakes. (On the menu, the veggie omelette specifically states that the combination may not be changed.) On my first visit, I asked the waiter to make a lot of substitutions and got a regular breakfast sandwich on whole wheat toast (instead of a croissant) and with cheddar (instead of brie).
